Samsung Introduces Mobile Phone Offers

Samsung Electronics has launched four new smart phone models in the line-up of the Galaxy for the target segment of middle and emerging markets.

"Samsung is trying to expand market share in emerging markets by selling smart phone for $ 200, because it has the highest market penetration of smart phones is lower than the market forward," said a spokesman for Samsung Group quoted an executive from Samsung Electronics mobile division within the executive group meeting on Wednesday.

Previously, Samsung launches Samsung smart phone Galaxy S for high-end segment in June 2010 and the Samsung S Galaxy II in April this year which has sold 5 million units worldwide.

Samsung will announce the latest line-up of the Galaxy to the public in the annual electronics exhibition in Germany in early September.

Global smart phone market is expected to reach 64 percent of the overall handset market in the dollar this year, up from 54 percent last year, according to industry data.
